Three persons were killed in separate accidents in Ernakulam on Monday.

The South Railway police said a man, believed to be from North India, was killed as he fell into the tracks while rushing to board the Ernakulam-Patna train at 4.40 p.m. The body was later shifted to the General Hospital.

Babu, 31, a resident of Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu, was killed after a tipper lorry rammed his bike at Kundannur in the morning.

Aluva Traffic police said that Tibu, 16, a resident of Mudakuzha near Kothamangalam, riding pillion on his friend’s motorcycle, died after the bike rammed a tipper lorry near Pulinchode junction.
