A Malayalam Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) for non-residents Keralites was launched here on Wednesday.

BVJS Communications Chief Executive Officer Baby Uralil and Chairman Varkey Abraham said at a press conference here that they would distribute most of the Malayalam channels through IPTV, the largest and fastest growing platform for media delivery. The Malayalam IPTV would initially deliver content in North America and then expand to Europe, Australia, Germany and other parts of the world.

The Malayalam IPTV would give state-of-the-art set-top boxes to consumers free of cost so that they could enjoy all channels in the comfort of their homes with HD quality TV signals, they said.
