Kannur University is a total failure in executing the decisions taken by the university Syndicate, alleged Kerala Students Union (KSU) district president Sudeep James in a press release.

Though the Syndicate had declared many welfare activities, a majority of it could not be implemented by the university.

The credibility of the institution was under a cloud of doubt as despite funds set aside for student-facility centres in Kannur, Kasaragod, and Wayanad district headquarters, not a single centre had been opened yet.

The KSU would hold strong protests if the university continued its “lackadaisical” approach to the projects put forward by the Syndicate, the release said.
