KSIE registers

Rs. 7-crore profit

Kerala State Industrial Enterprises (KSIE) Limited has made a profit of Rs.7 crore in the last financial year which is a record, company chairman M.C. Mayin Haji has said. The company registered an increase in cargo export through International Airports of Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram. Kerala Soaps, another undertaking of the KSIE, registered 50 per cent increase in turnover and made Rs.48 lakh as profit, Mr. Mayin Haji said. The company would set up a facility to generate electricity from solid waste at Njeliyanparamba. —Staff Reporter
