Former judge of the Supreme Court V.R. Krishna Iyer met Tibetan leader Dalai Lama at Kochi on Sunday. The two spent around 30 minutes together.
During the close door meeting, Mr. Lama acknowledged the support India had extended to him. He also expressed his firm belief in Socialism, sources close to the jurist said.
The two also shared the memories of their earlier meeting at New Delhi. The spiritual leader presented fruits to the jurist, sources said.
