To be held at the Marine Drive grounds from April 28 to May 3, `inca-2007' will showcase products manufactured by small and medium enterprises.

KOCHI: Kochi will host an industrial carnival at the Marine Drive grounds from April 28 to May 3. The `inca-2007' will showcase products manufactured by small and medium enterprises.

The exhibition is being organised by the Kerala State Small Industries Association (KSSIA) and the Department of Industries and Commerce.

Private sector units, major public sector undertakings and key Government departments will participate in the exhibition, said the organisers. The exhibition will create a platform for the industrial units in the State to display their wares and services, said A.P.M. Abdul Rahim, State president, KSSIA.

Machinery manufacturers and vendors of raw materials are expected to benefit from the exhibition, said B. Prasanna Kumar, general manager, District Industries Centre, Ernakulam.

More than 200 stalls have been planned.

Similar exhibitions were organised four times between 1994 and 2000.
