Three policemen suffered injuries while trying to overpower the fugitives. One of the arrested was wanted in connection with several theft cases.

Kunnanveettil Asgar Ali, 34, from Koottilangadi, and Rasheed, 28, from Seena Manzil, Chavakkad, were overpowered by the Highway Police at Koottanad after a long chase.
