MALAPPUARAM: The marathon meeting of the Indian Union Muslim League's State working committee being held at Kottakkal since Thursday failed to finish business on Saturday as the discussions went on late into night. About two dozen members who did not get time to speak on Friday addressed the meeting after it resumed on Saturday afternoon.

The party could not hold the meeting in the morning as there was a marriage party at the venue where the meeting was being held.

Unlike the past meetings, the crucial State working committee session gave enough time for all members to open up their mind about the party's dismal show in the recent Assembly elections.
