KOZHIKODE: In a bid to turn Kerala into a major IT hub, Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan would lay the foundation stone for the third cyber park here on Monday and the project is expected to be commissioned by next year.

The cyber park, being set up on 43 acres in the first phase, is expected to generate direct employment to 1,500 job aspirants, District Collector P.B. Salim told a press conference here on Saturday.

A building complex on 4 lakh square feet would come up for the project by early next year, the first of its kind in Malabar region, he said.
