THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Chapter of the Indian Homoeopathic Medical Association has urged the Government not to discontinue the PG courses in medicine and pharmacy started in 2004.

M. Premachandran, president, and K. Narayana Pai, general secretary, said in a statement here on Tuesday that it was being done on the ground that the prior approval of the Central Ayush Department had not been obtained. It would jeopardise the future of the students doing the course now. They demanded the setting up of a separate directorate for homoeopathic education. The association has decided to revive the functioning of RAECH - Rapid Action Epidemic Control in Homoeopathy.
