Forms for single-window admission from Monday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The results of the higher secondary examinations will be announced by Education Minister M.A. Baby on Tuesday.

A press note here on Sunday said the results could be accessed on the web sites;;;;;;;;; and

Each student can see the result and take a printout of the mark list by submitting the register number on these web sites. Moreover, schools can download the results of all their students. For students and schools who register on, the results would be sent to their e-mail ids soon after the results are declared.

The higher secondary results can also be accessed at the 2,000-plus Akshaya centres across the State. Various counselling centres have been set up to advise parents and children on how to handle any situation arising from the publication of the results.

Single-window system

The application forms for the higher secondary single-window admission system have been sent to the district centres. According to a press note issued here, the principals of schools should present themselves at the centres before noon on Monday and receive the forms. The forms should be distributed to students from 2 p.m. on Monday.

Every two days, the schools should send online updates about the distribution of forms. Students can find out from this web site the last rank details in all schools in a district, the rank details relating to a particular course combination, the rank details of an individual school and rank details pertaining to a particular category.

The site features a calculator to enable students to know their weighted grade point average. The site contains detailed explanations on how to access the various facilities.
