The Police Department seems to be becoming conscious of the welfare of its women employees.

On July 3, the Director General of Police, Raman Sreevastava, will inaugurate an awareness camp on breast cancer at the Police Headquarters here.

The function is being organised by the Police Headquarters Staff Recreation club. Several leading experts on the disease are scheduled to speak at the function.

The camp is expected to benefit the large number of women working in the department, including ministerial staff members and members of the women police constabulary.

The doctors would tell participants on how to detect early symptoms of the disease.
