The team from Gregorian Public School, Kochi, won the finals of the IXth Cagers Tournament organised by the Toc-H Public School. The hosts were the second runners up. The winners defeated Navy Childrens School and Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala. The president of Toc-H institutions Prof. P. J. Joseph gave away the prizes.

Attends camp

Anjali Nair, a Std. XI student of Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, attended the Sixth Asia Girl Child Peace Camp held at Kathmandu. She was among the three students from India. Thirty-five students from eight Asian countries participated. Ms Nair was selected from among 35 students from different Kochi schools by the Cultural Academy For Peace.

Basketball tournament

An inter-school basketball tournament was held in Nava Nirman Public School, Vazhakkala.

The final match was between Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala and Nava Nirman Public School, Vazhakkala. Nava Nirman won the match. The chief guest Bineesh K. Shaji, an international athlete, gave away the prizes.

At Matha school

The fourth inter-school Matha Nagar Public School basketball tournament would be held at the school from November 8 to 10.

Kochi Mayor Tony Chammany would give away the prizes.
