Kozhikode: The government is looking for land to keep its promise to provide home for the homeless and the landless Industries Minister Elamaram Karim has said.

He was inaugurating a one-day programme organised as part of observing Social Solidarity Week at the Corporation Jubilee Hall in Kandamkulam on Saturday

The Minister said that some families had obtained 10 cents in rural areas and three cents in urban areas. But partition of the property had made it impossible to construct a house on this land. The Minister distributed prizes to Scheduled Tribe children who had scored high marks in SSLC examinations.
