The 34{+t}{+h}national conference of the Indian Institute of Geographers (IIG) will be held at the Centre for Earth Science Studies here.

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy is scheduled to inaugurate the three-day conference beginning on December 13. Shailesh Nayak, Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences, will deliver the keynote address.

The conference will focus on the topic ‘Natural Resource Management and Decentralised Planning.’
