The Kerala High Court on Friday exempted four bar hotels from the order banning sale and transportation of liquor within four km radius of the Aluva manappuram where Sivarathri festivities would be held. Justice K. Surendra Mohan issued the order on petitions filed by the owners of the four hotels in Aluva. The Excise Authorities issued the ban order on March 1 . The Judge said the ban would not apply to these hotels on the ground that it was issued in violation of an earlier court verdict.
