The Rail and Road Passengers Welfare Association has demanded action against the owner and workers of the bus from which Arya, a 17-year-old girl, fell to death on January 7 this year. Association president V.R. Mohandas, in a letter to Chief Minister Oommen Chandy here on Sunday, requested him to take action against the culprits and provide a compensation of Rs.10 lakh to the girl’s family. She fell from the front door of the bus that had been kept open against rules.
