KOCHI: Classes were suspended at Government Law College here following clashes between SFI and KSU activists on Monday. Five students were injured in the clashes.

The latest incident was a development of the differences that cropped up between both the student bodies over certain issues connected with the inauguration of the renovated assembly hall of the college on March 1.

KSU activists had alleged that the name of the college union chairman was removed from the flex boards announcing the details of the inaugural programme. A section of the KSU activists had gheraoed the Principal protesting against what they termed a ‘political move’ in removing the name.
