Car collides with school van

Five persons were injured, one of them seriously, when their car collided with a school bus at Thirumoolapuram, near Thiruvalla, on MC Road on Monday.

The injured were admitted to Pushpagiri Medical College Hospital in Thiruvalla.

The injured were identified as Geevarghese, 59, and Chinnamma Varghese, both of Vandadil Kizhakethil House in Kottarakara; Baby, 58, Mariyamma Baby, 55, and Priyanka, 19, all from Kottarakara. Baby's condition was stated to be serious.

The van was returning to the school after dropping children home. The Thiruvalla police registered a case.
