KOZHIKODE: The shooting of Pen Pattanam was disrupted allegedly by members of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) here on Tuesday.

According to the film's director V.M. Vinu, a group of people, came to the location of the shoot, at the guest house of the Port Department, and said they would not allow the shooting until their demands were met.

Demand

“They said a member from their organisation should be included in the film's art section,” Vinu said.

“We had to call up the police and we resumed shooting in their presence. The workers of the BMS had tried to create problems on the very first day of this film's shoot, a few days ago. Then we had agreed to employ one of them, as driver. But they keep on making demands. We are helpless as only members of the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) could be employed to work in a film.”
