A State-wide Vimochana Yatra' (liberation rally) organised by the Samastha Kerala Sunni Students' Federation against spiritual exploitation in the name of charity will be flagged off in Mangalore on Wednesday.

At a press conference here on Monday, Onampilli Muhammed Faizi, general secretary of the federation, said the campaign would be given receptions at 50 centres in the districts. Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama secretary Kottumala T.M. Bappu Musaliyar would flag off the Yatra.

He criticised the Kerala Yatra being undertaken by the Sunni leader Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobacker Musaliyar.

Mangalore Khazi Twaha Ahmed Maulavi would preside over the flagging-off ceremony. Panakkad Syed Abbasali Shihab Thangal, president of the federation, would give the campaign message.
