Save FACT Action Committee has demanded that Chief Minister Oommen Chandy should lead an all-party delegation to New Delhi with a memorandum to highlight the financial troubles of the public fertilizer company, Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited, and to help speed up the approval for the Rs. 991-crore financial package recommended by the Board for Reconstruction of Public Sector Enterprises.

A statement from the Action Committee said that it had decided to intensify the protest action and that a protest rally would be organised on May Day.
