Celebrating its third anniversary, Brennen College Ex-NCC Association (BREXA NCC) will organise a variety of programmes on the Government Brennen College premises on March 11. Informing this at a press conference, Colonel B.K. Nair, BREKSA president, said 40 former NCC cadets from the college including 22 who had participated in the Republic Day parade and 18 who had taken part in national camps would be honoured at the function. T.C. Abraham, former Brigadier, Jammu Kashmir Artillery Brigade, will inaugurate the event, he said. With as many as 134 candidates having been selected to the Indian Army after gaining free physical training and coaching from BREKSA since 2009, the voluntary organisation is all set to provide free training to the new batch of aspirants in view of the Army recruitment rally to be held at Vadakara on May 15.
