THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has invited applications for the entrance examinations for admission to professional courses in the State.
A press note issued here on Friday by the office of the CEE said allotments to self-financing colleges from the State rank list for all courses will be subject to the decision of the Supreme Court on the various petitions pending before it on the matter.
The entrance examination will be held at all district centres in Kerala, in New Delhi and in Dubai on the dates and time mentioned below (Indian Standard Time). The entrance examination for all engineering courses, except architecture, will be held on April 24 and 25.
The Physics and Chemistry papers will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on April 24, and Mathematics paper from 10 a.m. to noon on April 25. The entrance examination for medical courses, including B.Pharm, Agriculture and veterinary courses, will be held on April 26 and 27. The aptitude test for architecture will be held on April 28.
While paper-1 `Aesthetic Sensitivity' will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, the `Drawing' paper will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Appearance in the two papers of the entrance examination concerned is compulsory for being considered for inclusion in the engineering/ medical rank list and appearance in the two papers of the aptitude test in architecture is compulsory for being considered for inclusion in the architecture rank list. Candidates need submit only one application form for admission to one or more medical, agriculture, veterinary, B,Pharm, engineering and architecture courses. The application forms and the prospectus will be sold from February 1 to February 28 through selected branches of the Canara Bank in and outside the State; the forms cannot be had by post or from the office of the CEE. Completed application forms must reach the office of the CEE before February 28.
