‘Encourage students to learn beyond curriculum’

M. Abdul Salam, Vice-Chancellor of Calicut University, has said that students should be encouraged to learn beyond the curriculum.

He was addressing a meeting at the Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology on Saturday to present the academic excellence award of Calicut University. The college is in top position in Calicut University in B.Tech. results for 2009, 2010 and 2011. Chairman of Irinjalakuda Diocesan Educational Trust Mar Pauly Kannookkadan presided. Two technical books were also released.
