KOCHI: The Ernakulam District Cooperative Bank-sponsored EMS Cooperative Library in Kakkanad is planning to expand its facilities considering the significant growth in membership and rapid additions to the book collection. The 13,500 sq. ft. area occupied by the library in three floors is virtually exhausted and "we are looking for more space for books and other facilities," said president of the Cooperative Bank and chairman of the library M.M. Monaye here on Thursday. A special section would be opened for these books at a function being inaugurated by Minister for Cooperation G. Sudhakaran on Saturday.
