THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With commencing direct flight operations from Dubai to Calicut International airport from Tuesday, Emirates Airlines has become the international carrier to operate the highest frequency of 125 flights a week to the country.
Emirates Airlines’ first flight to Kozhikode, EK 562, touched down to a warm welcome at Calicut International airport at 19.50 p.m. Emirates will operate six flights a week to Kozhikode. Emirates has deployed Boeing 777-200 and Airbus A330-200 aircraft in two-class configurations offering over 2,000 seats and 100 tonnes of cargo capacity a week per direction for the flight operations to Calicut. Emirates is offering introductory fares of Rs.7,500 (one-way) and Rs.14,995 (return) in Economy Class from Kozhikode to Dubai and Rs.30,000 for a Business Class return ticket to Dubai.
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays: EK 562 departs Dubai at 02.15 p.m. to arrive in Kozhikode at 07.50 p.m. EK 563 departs Kozhikode at 09.20 p.m. to arrive in Dubai at 11:40 p.m.
Thursdays and Saturdays: EK 560 departs Dubai at 03.30 a.m. to reach Kozhikode at 09.05 a.m. EK 561departs Kozhikode at 10.35 a.m. to reach Dubai at 12:55 p.m.
