Accusing the police of unleashing a ‘heinous’ and ‘barbaric’ attack on its activists while waving black flag against Chief Minister Oommen Chandy at Kazhakootam in Thiruvananthapuram recently, the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) has decided to stage a protest meet in Kanhangad on September 13. The meet will be held at the Manthoppu Maidan in the town from 10 a.m. till noon, and will be inaugurated by DYFI State president T. V. Rajesh, MLA. — Staff Reporter
