THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Activists of the Democratic Youth Federation of India began a 24-hour fast in all districts in the State on Monday in protest against the Central government’s refusal to provide adequate ration rice to the State and to press for steps to check price rise. Inaugurating the fast before the Raj Bhavan here, its national president P. Sreeramakrishnan said the DYFI would take the stir to Delhi if the Centre did not relent, he added.
