Thiruvananthapuram: Doctors will go on the warpath and organise more agitations in the coming days if the government further delayed enacting a law to protect hospitals against violence and damage to property, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has said.

The IMA, which had called for a State-wide two-hour boycott of hospital services by doctors on Saturday, said all doctors' organisations had cooperated with their call and that the boycott was total. The IMA said it was compelled to go in for a boycott as five incidents of violence were reported in a week from various parts of the State.
