KOCHI: The complaints adalat of the district administration and the Residents’ Associations for Timely Solutions (DARTS) will be held at the conference hall of the collectorate on Friday at 10.30 a.m.
DARTS is an interactive platform established between residents’ associations and various official bodies coming under the district administration.
The meeting was finalised after representatives of the Ernakulam District Residents’ Association Apex Council (EDRAAC) met District Collector M. Beena here on Thursday. Complaints related to the Departments of Revenue, Health, Civil Supplies and Agriculture, Kerala Water Authority, PWD, RTO and Excise will be accepted at the adalat.
Complainants should submit three copies of their complaint in writing. In a press release issued here, the EDRAAC urged the State government not to heed the demand by bus operators for hiking fares.
Even though the High Court has instructed bus owners to report the actual expense in the industry to the State government on a regular basis, a majority of bus owners are not doing that, the release said.
