A dharna organised by State Bank of Travancore Employees Union in front of the regional office of the bank was inaugurated by K.E. Ismail, the former MP, here on Thursday.

The employees’ demands included filling up of vacancies in the bank; putting a stop to outsourcing; and implementing the agreement reached with the unions.

The dharna was addressed by SBT Employees Union all-India vice-president K. Mallika and assistant secretary Aniyan Mathew, among others.
