The feat performed by N. Anilkumar at a function organised by the Rotary Club at the Chamber Hall in Kannur recently had the audience glued to their seats.

The desire to enter the Guinness Book of World Records is what prompted Anilkumar to perform the feat. His fitness coupled with regular training helped him perform the dangerous act.

Anilkumar, who hails from Thiruvanthapuram, laid on his back, balanced a sword vertically in his mouth between his teeth.

A strong board was fixed on the other end of the sword and two tiles placed on it.

Another person broke the tiles with a heavy hammer. Any error would have been fatal.
