Luxury cruise liner Aida Diva called at Kochi on Sunday, bringing in 1,462 tourists from Europe. They will fly back to Europe from here on Monday on chartered flights that will bring another 1,516 tourists to Kochi, which is thus being used as a turnaround port. These tourists will check into the vessel on Monday, and will sail out on Wednesday.
Aida Diva arrived here from Goa on Sunday morning and is anchored at the BTP Berth. Hundreds of people turned up to see the 252-metre-long German vessel.
