Kerala Government Contractors’ Association said that it will approach the High Court if the government did not take any decision to fix the rate of works of the Rs. 450 crore project tendered under the Kuttanad package to that of market rates. At a press conference here, Varghese Kannampally, president of the Association, said that it was unfortunate that the Prosperity Council, which supervises the works related to Kuttanad package, did not take any decision on the Rs 450 crore project. He said if the issue was not resolved by December 31, they would launch an agitation.
