Stir against government's alleged anti-people policies

Thrissur: Congress workers picketed the Thrissur Collectorate on Wednesday in protest against the State government's alleged anti-people policies. Addressing workers, KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala said the LDF

government was mocking the people through its administrative failures.

“The government has no sense of direction. Ministers are out of tune with the Chief Minister. The leadership has failed,” Mr. Chennithala added.

DCC president-in-charge Benny Behanan, Therambil Ramakrishnan, T. N. Prathapan, MLAs, KPCC treasurer C. N. Balakrishnan, former Minister K. P. Viswanathan and former DCC president M. P. Bhaskaran Nair were present.

The police arrested the protesters, including Mr. Chennithala, and removed them from the spot.
