Many students who came to a city school to write the retest of the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) on Wednesday had to return disappointed owing to a CBSE stipulation that only those had prior registration could write the exam. The examination was scheduled for the morning of May 1. However, it got postponed to the afternoon following a question paper leak. Wednesday's test was for students who could not take the exam on May 1. Only at the exam venue did the students learn of the need for prior registration. — Staff Reporter
