The Chemical Engineering Group of the School of Engineering of the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) and the regional centre of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers are together organising a three-day international conference on ‘Recent Advances in Chemical Engineering Technology' (RACET-2011) at International Hotel from Thursday.

Over 200 delegates are slated to participate in deliberations pertaining to the role of chemical engineering in environment protection, energy conservation, biotechnology and nanotechnology.  Cusat Vice-Chancellor Ramachandran Thekkedath will inaugurate the event.
