CM protecting solar scam accused: MP

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy is committed to the welfare of the accused in the solar scam than to that of the people of Kerala, P.K. Biju, MP, has said.

He was addressing a sit-in by members of the Kerala State Karshaka Thozhilali Union (KSKTU) after they laid siege to the Collectorate on Monday morning. “The Chief Minister has adopted Saritha Nair, Tenny Joppen and Salim Raj. He is going out of the way to protect them,” said Mr. Biju.

K. Radhakrishnan, B.D. Devassy, MLAs, CITU district secretary M.M. Varghese, CPI(M) leaders N.R. Balan, P.K. Shajan and Murali Perunelly were present.
