Cleanliness drives will be carried out in the district in view of increased incidence of dengue, rat fever, and jaundice cases.

The District Planning Committee (DPC), chaired by District Collector P.S. Muhammed Sagir, which met here on Saturday, sought the active cooperation and support of all concerned.

The support of local bodies, the public, and various trade bodies would be elicited, the meeting said.

A meeting of officials and elected representatives would be held before August 15.
