KOCHI: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will organise a session on “India@75 — sustaining industrial growth in Kerala” here on September 16.

The programme is part of the CII’s initiative to focus on schemes intended to transform India into a global leader economically, technologically and ethically by 2022. The agenda is guided by the core principles enunciated by the management expert C.K. Prahalad.

Rajan Navani, chairman, CII Mission on India@75, and managing director, Jetline Group of Companies; Kochouseph Chittilappilly, managing director, V-Guard Industries Ltd; K.N. Balagopal, Political Secretary to the Chief Minister; and M.S.A. Kumar, managing director, AVT Natural Products Ltd.; will address the participants.

The session aims to help participants share ideas, views and best practices. There will be discussions on issues pertaining to industry and suggestions on solutions, apart from interaction with industry leaders.

The organisation has developed a Vision 2025 document for the four Southern States of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

The quest towards a long-term vision for India was inspired by a lecture by Prof. C.K. Prahalad at the India@60 celebrations of CII in New York two years ago.
