The team from College of Engineering, Trivandrum (CET), has won the e-Yantra robotics competition organised by the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, by building a robot which cleans rooms.

The all-India contest was launched in July 2012 to make robotics accessible to undergraduate students from engineering colleges, especially those who do not have access to facilities and/or mentors. The contest is an MHRD-sponsored project under the National Mission on Education through ICT.

CET beat 20 teams to win the contest under the room-cleaner robots theme.
