Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will organise a national workshop on martial art forms of Kerala and north-east India at Kozhikode on November 6 and 7. The event will be held at S. K. Pottekad Cultural Centre.
The programme is being jointly organised by IGNOU Institute for Vocational Education and Training, Shillong and IGNOU Regional Centre, Kochi. R. S. Mooshahary, Governor of Meghalaya, will be the chief guest on the occasion. Mullappally Ramachandran, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, will deliver the special address while V. N. Rajasekharan Pillai, Vice Chancellor of IGNOU, will preside.
