PALAKKAD: Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hemambica Nagar, held a cycle rally on Wednesday as part of a ‘Go green’ campaign, jointly organised by Integrity Club, Eco Club and the Scouts and Guides, to create awareness against the use of plastic materials. The students carried placards which read that plastic caused global warming. The rally was flagged off from the school in the morning by Vice-Principal Saradha Chandrasekharan. It culminated at Thaanav junction. The students cleared plastic wastes on the way. — Staff Reporter
