Five accused in murder case heldTHRISSUR: Five persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of Anish, 27, at Chamakkala on June 19 last. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, district SP T. Chandran and other police officials said Anish was wanted in connection with several criminal offences in the area. They suspected that gang-rivalry had led to his murder. The police officials identified the arrested as Kaipamangalam Kurikuzhy Thekkiyedath Satheesan, 37; his brother Remesh, 26; Pattathu Veettil Sudeep, 38; his brother Sujith, 24; and Kaithavalappil Shaji. Nine of the accused are yet to be traced. Staff Reporter
