PALAKKAD: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president P.K. Krishnadas has demanded that the State government ban the National Development Front (NDF) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as their involvement in militant and communal activities is proved beyond doubt.

Inaugurating a Collectorate march organised by the district committee of the party here on Tuesday, the BJP leader said that if brain mapping and narco analysis of some of their leaders were done, details of terrorist activities in the State would come out. .

He said that if the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had conducted an investigation into the Marad communal riots such militant activities could not have been carried out in the State. But both the Left Democratic Front and the United Democratic Front had opposed such an inquiry.

They had voted together in the Assembly for the release of PDP chairman Abdul Nasir Maudany from jail. BJP district president P. Sivadas presided. Bharatiya Mahila Morcha State president Shobha Surendran, party State committee member N. Sivarajan ,among others, spoke.
