Thiruvananthapuram: The curtains came down on the Natya Adhyayana Gurukulam held at the Salagramam Ashram here under the joint auspices of the School of Bhagavad Gita and the Chennai- based Bharatakalanjali on Tuesday with a presentation by students from different parts of India and abroad.
The two-week camp was held under the supervision of Bharatanatyam teachers V.P. Dhananjayan and Shanta Dhananjayan, and N.S. Jayalakshmi, Kala Ramesh, P.P. Ramakrishnan, Deepak Majumdar, Girija Chandran, Pavitra Srinivasan and Gopukiran. The curriculum included the practical and theoretical aspects of Natya and music, Yoga, Sanskrit and interaction with personalities from various walks of life.
Justice Hariharan Nair, who was the chief guest, honoured the GurusSwami Sandeepananda Giri, Director, School of Bhagavad Gita, presented certificates to the students.
