THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Muslim Employees Cultural Association has asked the University of Kerala to abandon the move to disallow students who pass the preliminary of Afzal-ul-Ulama of the University of Calicut from pursuing degree studies under it. In a memorandum submitted to the Vice-Chancellor on Monday, the organisation said the move to discontinue the distance education course would jeopardise the future of the students. — Special Correspondent
