Science Express, a biodiversity special train, will reach Kozhikode on August 25. The train is a joint venture of the Union Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF). The project intends to create awareness on the biodiversity of the nation and the need to conserve it. Climate change, water and power conservation, and environment are topics in the exhibition organised on the train. The train was flagged off from Delhi on June 5 and will travel across the country halting at 52 stations before it winds up its journey at Gandhi Nagar on December 22. The audio-visual exhibition has been arranged in 16 air-conditioned coaches. The train will halt in Kozhikode till August 28, a press release said.
