Kochi: Kerala High Court judge Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan on Saturday stressed the need for reform in the legal education.

Inaugurating Naithikam-09, a one-day workshop for law students organised by the Akhila Bharathiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), he said that in fact, law students should study the science of justice.

The curriculum of the legal education was mostly based on Western concepts. There should be an attempt to formulate a legal education system in tune with Indian jurisprudence.

He also called upon the law students to adopt the Constitutional principles in their own lives. State president of the ABVP, S. Manu, presided.
